Monica Mutsvangwa is a company director of Moncris Pvt Ltd. a pioneer of the Digital Era in Zimbabwe. Since 1992, she has worked with several globally leading telecommunications and internet companies including Nokia-Siemens-Alcatel, Huawei Technologies and Multi choice Africa. Appointed Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcast Services in the Government of President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa in 2018. She has respectively served as Deputy Minister of the following Ministries: Economic Planning and Investment promotion, Labour and Social Welfare, Information Media and Broadcasting service and as Minister of State (Governor) for Manicaland Provincial Affairs.
Najib Gouiaa is the CEO of MediaCity Mauritius, an integrated hub for the multimedia and creative industries looking to connect with African markets. He has over 25 years’ experience in the media industry, having been a journalist, a TV production executive, and a consultant for large media organisations. Prior to launching MediaCity Mauritius, Najib was the CEO of TIME TV, a French media production company which made documentaries for international broadcasters such as France TV, Al Jazeera, and TV5 Monde. He was also a Director of Al Qarra TV, a multilingual network, specialising in African news. Najib is an experienced consultant, having helped international clients navigate the media environment of the Middle East and A
A serial entrepreneur, who is currently Partner at Meltwater. With his experience focusing on technology, global strategy and expansion, Zubair has a pedigree for developing leadership talent across markets. He has a degree in European Law / Masters in Medical Law from the University of Amsterdam. Given his thirst for education, he has recently completed a Post Grad in Global Business at the University of Oxford. Having worked extensively across Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, China, Japan and South East Asia, his passion is emerging markets and their interplay with data and machine learning. Zubair continues to be an active commentator for style, design and culture, given his exposure to travel.
